The Nebelung is closely related to the Russian Blue. All Nebelungs have green eyes. All Nebelungs are descended from two cats, Siegfried and Brunhilde. The name Nebelung is derived from the German Nebel, which means fog, and probably describes the fur of the cat. Nebelungs are rare cats only beginning to be recognized as a new independent breed.
